Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean with a gigantic bed, but the creaky floorboards and overall shabby condition were disappointments. The service was on the most part really helpful, especially the older staff members, but there were some inconsistencies. The location was great, although I felt I paid a premium for it. The dining experience ranged from poor to very good, with several options available. Overall, the facilities were decent, but there were some maintenance issues that stood out.
I had a mix of experiences at the hotel. On the bright side, I scored an upgrade from a single to a newly refurbished luxury double room with a king-size bed and a landmark view, which was incredible. Unfortunately, the room was shabby and desperately needed renovation; light bulbs needed replacing, the shower wasn't functioning properly, and there was mold in the bathroom. The whole room felt outdated and nothing like the advertised photos.
The hotel offers a funky yet tasteful blend of old and new decor, great for families of four with lovely garden views. However, some maintenance issues like water stains and mould were noticeable. The kippers for breakfast were a delightful touch, adding to the overall charm of the rooms.
